After a formal investigation by the Johnson County District Attorney’s Office and the local NBC TV affiliate in Kansas City, Mark Stephens of KC Gutterguard, a contractor who installed the Gutterglove and Gutterdome brand gutter guards (gutter protection systems keep leaves and pine needles out of your gutters), has agreed to a Consent Judgement in the 10th Judicial Court, Johnson County, Kansas Civil Department on June 17th 2013 and is mandated to pay fines and restricted from ever installing any gutter protection system again. On page 3 of the Consent Judgement Mr. Stephens is described as using “… deceptive and unconscionable acts …”
